• Village Quiz night

  We’re excited to invite you to our Village Quiz Night on Saturday 25th April at 7:00pm in the Village Hall. It’s set to be a lovely evening of light‑hearted trivia, friendly competition, and great company!

  This is a fantastic chance to get together with other families, enjoy a relaxed night out, and maybe even win a prize or two. Teams can have up to 8 people, so feel free to gather friends, neighbours, or join up with others on the night.

  Your ticket is £12 per person, which includes a delicious fish & chip supper. There will also be a raffle and refreshments available throughout the evening.

• Pets as therapy

  We are excited to let you know that we welcomed a Pets as Therapy (PAT) dog into our school as part of our reading support programme.

  Our visiting dog, Beau, is a gentle, well‑trained PAT dog who loves being around children. Beau  came into school with his trained handler and will spend time listening to children read in a calm, supportive environment.

  Having a therapy dog in school has been shown to help children:

  • feel more relaxed and confident while reading
  • develop their reading fluency and enjoyment
  • build self‑esteem and communication skills

• Remembrance Day

  On Remembrance Day we went out to the war memorial which sits on the green in front of the school.  The children could look closely at it and question what they noticed or wondered.  we then held a moment of reflection at 11am whilst listening to the Last Post.
