On Friday 23rd June the children will be organising two events, a non school uniform day and a cake sale.

The school council will be holding a cake sale after school on the Friday and we would love it if you could help by donating a cake to sell.

What can the children wear?

The theme for non uniform day will be ‘Dress to Impress’  They can wear anything they want but please remember it will be a normal school day so sensible shoes must be worn.

What can the children bring in?

Any cakes – homemade or shop bought! These will be sold afterschool to raise money for St Marks Meals so they can continue their good cause

A reminder will be sent out nearer the event but please add this date to your diary.

‘Wear Something Red Day’

‘Comic Relief – Red Nose Day’

Friday 17th March 2023

Stoke Goldington’s School Council have voted to support ‘Comic Relief’ this year as one of their charity events.

To support this event, children should come to school dressed in their own clothes, ideally something red. We will have a collection bucket by the school gate as they come into school in the morning.

Please remember that this will still be a school day with the usual school activities. Sensible shoes will be needed as the children will be playing outside and having PE.

We look forward to seeing them in something red to support this worthwhile charity.

Thank you

‘Pyjama Day’

‘Children In Need’

Friday 18th November 2022

Stoke Goldington’s School Council have voted to support ‘Children in Need’ this year as one of their charity events and reflecting on this half term’s value of ‘Compassion’.

To support this event, children should come to school dressed in their pyjamas and make a suggested donation of £1. We will have a collection bucket by the school gate as they come into school in the morning. They can dress up in a onesie or pyjamas but  they will need to wear school shoes or trainers.

Please remember that this will still be a school day and layers will be needed as they will be worn for the whole school day both inside and outside.

We look forward to seeing them in their pyjamas to support this worthwhile charity.

Thank you
