A warm welcome to the Stoke Goldington CE First school website.

I am delighted to be Executive Headteacher of the Village Schools Federation of  Stoke Goldington CE, Sherington CE, North Crawley CE, Newton Blossomville CE,  St Andrews CE and Emberton schools. Our collaborative partnership and strong links enable our pupils to have enriched learning opportunities through the sharing of staff expertise, joint activities (such as trips, sports days, celebrations) and collaborative practises across the six schools. We federated in December 2017 after many years in partnership with North Crawley CE School.  I took on the Headship in January 2018 and from September 2018 we welcome our Executive Deputy Headteacher, Mrs M Younger.

The Village Schools Federation has one Governing Board who are passionate about the special and unique opportunities that small village schools, like Stoke Goldington, offer pupils.  The Governor's passion led to the federation in order to secure the future of local village schools and sustain the opportunities for individualised learning in small classes with high adult:pupil ratios, and an enriched curriculum that uses the local community, local environment and pupils experiences and interests alongside the National curriculum.  I have taught, and more recently been Deputy and Head, of village schools for the past 12 years, I attended a village school myself and am passionate about leading Stoke Goldington on it's continuous outstanding journey.

Stoke Goldington CE School is situated in the village of Stoke Goldington on the edge of North Milton Keynes and Northamptonshire.  It is close to the historic towns of Newtport Pagnell and Olney.  It is surrounded by open spaces, with fields and woodland a short walk from the school and  bordered by farmland with lambs in the Spring and geese in the Summer. We use the local environment as an extended classroom.  Stoke Goldington pupils are very happy, love school and are caring towards each other and their community.  The pupils are taught and nurtured by a team of dedicated staff who are committed to inclusive practises and safeguarding.  The school benefits from the close partnerships with parents and carers, the local community and the outstanding pre- school. We pride ourselves on our Christian ethos and Christian values which underpin daily life. Teaching at Stoke Goldington CE School is a privilege, learning is a joy, as one parent commented  ‘there's no where to hide in this rich, stimulating learning environment.’

If you would like to visit us and see us in action, please call the office and arrange a time, you will be most welcome.
